How You Can Get Prepared For Your Hunting Trip

During hunting season you have to be prepared for whatever weather conditions you will be up against.
Which means it could be muddy and cold and maybe even snow you will have to deal with, for those trying to get in to the high backcountry to do your hunting.
First You want a good pair of hiking boots something that is going to support your ankles and then your going to wanna choose whether or not you may want insulated or a lighter pair that breathes well I normally take 2 pair in case, sometimes that weather can modify on you before you know it.
Second You will want a few different jackets a heavy insulated rain resistant coat, a lighter coat for warmer temp., and a rain coat or parka. Now if you want hunters orange, I recommend getting a vest preferably two that will fit over your heavy jacket and try to get it made out of cotton or polyester, try to avoid the nylon style they are loud when they rub together.
Third You will wanna find a couple of style of pants, again you wanna think of weather conditions, your going to want a lighter set and heavier set, now look for the military style that has the extra pockets on the legs these are great for storage.
Fourth Its always a good idea to have a hat that will keep your ears warm and protect you from the rain and socks are another important item to think about if your feet are miserable your miserable so make sure a good wool style sock or if your allergic they've some good manmade styles to pick from.
Fifth Now that you have those great pants with extra storage you can keep a portable first-aid kit, a little survival kit with matches, a couple of protein bars, a compass, and two of those fold up solar blankets there great for protecting you against the wind and rain if you get lost have to stay out all night. Now make sure you put these items in something like those Glad Zipper bags to protect them from the rain.
Sixth The final item you wanna think about is a good knife I personally take a multi-tool, it's a blade and some extra tools that can be handy and I also carryover a folding lock-back style knife, its compact, it works great for cleaning and skinning whatever you might be hunting for.
